Dear readers,
We are pleased to share with you the second issue of 2008 E-Newsletter.
It's so delighted to announce that we've welcomed Kebumen dan Wonosobo as the first two districts that concern and care about sustainable development. About 30 government apparatus of each district had shown enthusiasm in attending the workshop entitled "Promoting Leadership for Integrated Development." We hope that their commitment will drive the improvement of the initiatives and expand the innovative ways in which more districts can participate and improve themselves for the sustainability.
For those of you who are looking for sustainability tools, you'll find an interesting article on Developing Sustainable Business Program.
A brief story about LEAD Associate Training-this year's theme is "Toward Sustainable Cities"--is also included in this issue. Held annually the training has attracted people from around Indonesia for 20 days of learning related to the sustainable development paradigm. With participants from different sectors--professionals and activists involved in providing or improving small urban community--over the years YPB-LEAD Indonesia has gotten consistent feedback about the value of holding classes which both the regulated and the regulators, the providers and the consumers, and the experienced and inexperienced could share their perspectives.
In this issue, you'll also find a complete update about the program for Aceh youths, Bridging Leadership Program, which is entering its second cohort.
Thanks for reading our E-Newsletter. We hope you have a peaceful Ramadhan!
