LEAD Indonesia: Leadership for Environment and Development Training Program

Activities within LEADing by Knowledge are research activities comprising:

To build data-base as the foundation to provide recommendations for public policies;
To document case study to be used as analyzing tool in the training;
To analyze data to be used as reference in designing new activities.

The research using accurate data will support accountable recommendations for public policies. Case study will present crucial issues for participants to do critical thinking. It will also encourage new relevant activities to answer new challenges.

In 2005, YPB produced "Indonesia Profile of Small Medium Scale Enterprise for Corporate Social Responsibility" for UNIDO.

The research in 2007 covers 29 case study on policy and innovative leadership. The case study has been published now and can be used in the leadership for Integrated Development training. YPB will annually multiply the documentation on case study, including those regarding various projects that have been implemented.

Lessons learned from project on Developing Sustainable Business has also printed in 2007 for future activities.

For public policy, research regarding issues on water, agriculture and energy are on the plan.
