BLP target audience is the youth age 24-35 years old at the rural areas, the community leaders, while in urban areas the target will be 15-24 years old. They will be trained to understand the conceptual framework and issues related to sustainable development, and the opportunity to have internship as volunteers in the leading organizations that have program related to education, environment, economic development, and bridging diversity (religion, faith, ethnic group, education, etc).

From year 2005-2007, CIDA had supported BLP in Aceh Nanggroe Darussalam, to train 27 selected young generations as participants of BLP. They had the knowledge sharing from experts in the area of leadership and sustainable development, and the action oriented activities for those who joined the internship with leading agency.

The next phase of the project will start in 2008 wit the support from LEAD International to reach 30 participants in the rural areas, up to 2011.
